Liesbeth Smit is a nutritionist currently working as junior researcher at VU University Amsterdam, where she is getting her PhD.
To prevent people from getting chronic disease Liesbeth's career is focused on promoting a healthy lifestyle and translating nutrition science to the public. She taught herself HTML & CSS to be able to develop and design websites that promote a healthy lifestyle (see webportfolio). She is also building a database of food and health pictures and can often be found on the street where she investigates the food culture.
