Liesbeth Smit is a Nutrition Researcher. Currently she works as junior researcher at VU University Amsterdam, where she is getting her PhD.
To prevent people from getting chronic disease Liesbeth's career is focused on promoting a healthy lifestyle and translating nutrition science to the public. She learned herself HTML & CSS to be able to develop and design websites that promote a healthy lifestyle (see webportfolio). She is also building a database of food and health pictures and can often be found on the street where she investigates the food culture.
